When treating children, it is important for the therapist to be aware of their natural left or right handedness, the age-related extent of their hand preference, as well as any attempts that have been made to change that preference. In order to discover the natural handedness of children who keep switching hands or who have been retrained, the author provides extensive material in this article as well as additional questionnaires, which can be used to determine tzhe handedness. A case study completes the presentation.
